Highly unlikely, BUT, if you see a spam attack and no moderators/administrators are on, DO NOT REPLY. I've seen this happen alot on other forums where people post more than ever, telling people to "stop posting" and people post anyways and THEY say "stop posting"- don't let it happen here.

This is good advice, I know it sounds stupid, but alot of people do dumb things like that, so we must be prepared. The best bet would be just to sign off and come back maybe in an hour or so.

It wouldn't matter if they did, all spam threads will be deleted so in the end, their posts are meaningless. It's just so if the spammer sees that nobody is reacting and freaking out about the attack, they will post less, or just end up leaving. They are in it for attention, so don't give them any. Wink

Exactly. But sometimes they post more just to try to get on the users' nerves. I remember an a forum I was on before, one of the mods made a fake account and made a spam thread to see what we would do, but I was the only one on.

I've heard of that before, I wouldn't bother, it would be a waste. Haha
